The significant difference between some of these guys and Gibson is he is signed for only 2 years. Olynyk is 4 years and honestly I think he is a bench player and a lesser player than Gibson but that's subjective.

Lee is overpaid in this market and signed for 3 more years.

Gay? What player are you really getting? For that money it's a pretty solid risk but I'm not dying to get Gay because I'm not convinced he will be healthy and effective.

Miami is about to be done and the Kings are probably close now loading up on vets. Let's keep letting this play out with that patience you have been preaching Lip!

I would love a miles, Crawford bench offseason

If Zach was still here i would say Crawford for sure would come here over Wiz/Cavs, But i bet he gose to cavs.

Man, the kings might just enter the Dog Fight of 5-8 seeds! Absolutely love what they have done.

Eh I like what they have done but a team is not making the playoffs with hill and Hield as their best players

Whoa, the agreements are coming fast tonight!

Olynyk is a good player. I like that Miami team.

Something about San Antonio is starting to stink. Aldridge has regressed, then the rumors he was available, and now signing Rudy Gay coming off an Achilles tear? Rudy Gay is the poster child for getting stats for himself but not helping the team, and off an Achilles tear? Something just feels a little desperate about that.

If Miami cuts him, Wayne Ellington has become a pretty good volume 3 point shooter. He doesn't bring much else, but he'd be a lot better than Henderson or Afflalo as a shooter.

I'm sure we'll get somebody for the exception, right? I'd love it if we somehow convinced CJ Miles to take it for us.

Is anybody gonna make an offer to Bogdanovic?

The money's gotta start drying up soon. Who else has cap space?

http://www.spotrac.com/nba/cap/

Looks like Dallas, but they've gotta extend Noel or match if anybody offers him a deal, so they probably don't have a ton.
Chicago
Philly
Atlanta
Phoenix
Indiana
Probably Utah now with Hayward gone
Knicks
Lakers
Kings just took a bit of a hit by signing Vince
Denver

There's not a lot of money left out there.

Hill/Fox/Mason
Hield/Temple/Richardson
Carter/Jackson/Richardson
Skal/Randolph/Giles
WCS/Koufas/Papi

Great mix of young, old, defense, offense. Still some cap to go get a SF as well, and wouldn't be surprised to see them move Koufos. I doubt they are done and won't be an easy W.

You're likely right, probably a 35-41 win team rather than a playoff team, but we shall see.

Monster - I agree completely on letting this play out. Our front office has executed three signature moves in trading for Butler, replacing Ricky with Teague and a low 2018 1st round pick and signing Butler. Now it's time to watch and wait for the dust to settle and grab any remaining bargains.

I'd probably opt for Olynyk for 4 years at less per year over Gibson's 2-year contract, but it's a close call in my mind.

I don't think Courtney Lee is overpaid at $11.5 million per year for 3 more years. He's a 38.6% career 3-point shooter, hitting over 45% of his field goals overall. He's a good ball-handler and pretty good defender.

Gay would be a gamble. He's never been one of my favorites and always struck me as more of a stat-stuffer than a winner. And coming back strong from and Achilles injury is problematic. But I'm intrigued that the Spurs signed him. They don't make many mistakes.

They won't be fun to play but still think they are a ways away from making the playoffs

Trade Cole and pick for CJ and a 2nd round pick, Add Crawford for the RE, Then add a cheep pg like Ty Lawson and call it good.

Here is my question why wouldn't the Pacers decide to trade miles for Aldrich and a 2nd. The reason I ask isn't that better than losing him for absolutely nothing to another team not the wolves.

Also have dubs to offer
