I'm not able to listen to LaVine right now, but his quotes sound like he was nervous and excited. Man, I fucking hope so!

he's definitely excited about playing for the Wolves, everyone will feel a lot better after they get a chance to listen to the presser

I really couldn't care less about how excited he is or isn't (obviously I guess it'd be nice to have him excited), because once they get together, he'll be on board and he'll have years to forget that.

LaVine on "Eff me" TV reaction: "I'm completely ecstatic." Sounds genuinely happy to be with #Twolves
Darren Wolfson @DarrenWolfson · 14s
LaVine: "Rush of emotion. Still on Cloud 9. Ready to put my whole heart into MN." #Twolves
Ok. Hope it's true

Re: DRAFT DAY THREAD
LaVine reminds me a bit of Austin Rivers, who was selected #10 a couple years ago. There are some impressive physical capabilities, but lacks offensive consistency and doesn't have a clue about defense. Rivers improved over his miserable rookie year, but he's still mediocre.
This was clearly an upside pick. Not even I can put much credence in the stats of a guy that came off the bench for UCLA as an 18-year old (if you look at stats-based draft models, he would struggle to crack the top 25, much less the top 15). Let's hope he pans out, but it's hard to see him helping out our 2-guard situation this year.

Yup, the smartest franchise appropriately picks the smartest player in the draft. He'll fit like a glove and they'll keep on rollin'.

I hope we keep all three of our second rounders. There are several players projected to go in Round 1 still left.

Re: DRAFT DAY THREAD
Just an idea, but after watching a video of Lavine's reaction, he sure looked like he said "f*ck man" instead of "f*ck me"......combine that with how relieved he looked, might be overreacting to nothing.
