Yikes, I preferred Koloko over Kessler. Connelly better nail 29.

Kessler? Uh, ok. I mean I was calling for a big shot blocker earlier, but Duren and Williams can at least probably switch a bit. I don't think Kessler can. But we do really need a big.

Memphis takes Walker Kessler at 22 for Minnesota. I think this is a slight reach, but not too far off. He's the best shot-blocker in this class and one of the best collegiate rim protectors of the past decade, but it doesn't feel like it was the best value here with several more attractive prospects still available. Kessler is absolutely massive, however, and played a monumental part in Auburn's success last year. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. He provides something this roster just hasn't had in quite some time.
