Here are the latest roster updates and news:

The LeBron Pursuit: Minnesota made a strong push to court free agent LeBron James, but star Anthony Edwards has since indicated that the team is not in James' top three choices.

Summer League Recap: The Timberwolves wrapped up their NBA Summer League schedule with a 2-3 record. Second-year player Joan Beringer and draft pick Trey Kaufman-Renn are top candidates to fill out the remaining two-way roster spots.

Front Office Moves: Prior to acquiring Ball, Minnesota made a three-team blockbuster trade that sent Julius Randle to the Brooklyn Nets and gave the team the 33rd overall pick in the draft.

One unfiltered quip becomes definitive news.
A Google search certainly isn't definitive news. I mean Joan as a top candidate for a 2-way spot. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Lebron keeps talking about how important family is in regard to this decision. If that's really the case, why doesn't he retire and show them how important they are?

I too think Lebron is far far more likely to laugh at and enjoy Ant's quip. Also not surprised about Arod as there's zero chance he was going to speak on the convo he had with Lebron and Ant wasn't going to either. Without question they both pitched Lebron directly in some way and I think it's safe to assume the things they said to him privately are much more important than playing with the media.
All very true. But I still think Ant needs to be a bit more circumspect with his public comments in large part because of the fact that there are so many people online lacking comprehension skills That’s the world we’re in. Again, this latest quip isn’t a big deal and won’t impact LeBron’s decision. But being perpetually glib can be dangerous.
That's true. I'm all for messing with the media a bit, but it's definitely good to mix things up, show different energy, etc.

What also makes sense is that Minneapolis is closer to his family in LA than any of the other possible destinations except Golden State. Also, the Wolves have more games in California than any of the other teams except the Warriors. Yet, the Warriors are the one team in the bench that doesn’t seem to have any realistic chance of competing for a title next season.

Again, in spite of my impulsive prediction, I don’t think LeBron will sign with the Wolves. But I honestly believe he should.
He specifically mentioned his daughter too when talking about the family factor. I forget where, but it was pointed out that his daughter is big into volleyball. While Cali may be a bigger state, MN last I saw was a top 5 state for volleyball. 👀👀

Now today there's a clip of Lebron being asked about golf and he essentially said basketball is the main thing and golf is something he can play the rest of his life. He also indicated golf isn't an issue regarding a cold weather city. 👀👀

aaand Windy thinks Lebron has some level of temptation to go outside the norm. lol I know it probably doesn't happen, but man so many things point to MN making sooooo much sense.

Hell he should come to Nebraska for Volleyball! Lol

FWIW in the story I read a few days ago his daughter has friends etc in Cali so they aren't planning on moving.

I recall seeing something about that as well. Doesn't hurt to have that in the bag though lol

This is one of those stories where the only thing I've gotten out of it is that everyone who Ant seemingly admires or looks up to has had an opportunity to join him here and has declined.

If you think LeBron's coming here only for you to get a heavy dose of Trey Lyles early on, it's gonna mess you up so much you're gonna take all your anger out on Lyles or whoever gets the last roster spot.
