Hamilton or Aldrich.. It doesn't matter. If they're playing, it's not a good thing.

I'd be willing to bet we expend our assets (Bjelica, 31 and 36) for a mid-first round pick like most of us here think we will, but I feel like Flip's gonna get cute with it and keep looking for the next Draymond Green type. Kevon Looney fits the bill to a tee.

moving Bazz in any deal would send a really bad message to the rest of the team.

Please elaborate how it sends a bad message. I don't see it.

Charlotte needs a scoring wing, if they offered the 9th pick for Muhammed would you pull the trigger?
The Nuggets look to be in sell mode and apparently Kenneth Faried is on the block. Any takers? That contract doesn't look the best right now, but he brings energy and rebounding to the PF position. You would be buying low at this point.

He had the highest PER on the team. He worked his ass off all summer to reconfigure his body. On a per minute basis, you can argue he outplayed our future superstar in Wiggins. He forced his way into the rotation despite very little support from the coach/GM and many fans. If he gets moved simply for a trade up to get ANOTHER unknown who may or may not even show the work ethic Bazz has or even wind up being as vital as what Bazz can be, it's like rewarding his hard work and improvement with a one way ticket outta here.
I'm also certain a lot of the trade talk just comes from being restless because when it comes to major splashes, we've never been majorly active; in fact, we rarely ever trade up, but I'll say this: they didn't stop making prospects when they made these guys in this draft. It's not gonna all be fixed overnight. We'll still be pretty bad next year. We'll have another chance to add to this team. Let's just let Bazz continue to be a very important piece. Hell I think Zach LaVine sucks and I would be opposed to jettisoning him right now just to move him for another unknown who could be just as bad. Hopefully the team just decides not to be antsy and goes to battle with what they have right now.

know who else needs a scoring wing? We will, if we traded Bazz.

Its crazy to me how short of memories fans have. Our shitty bench was all the rage on these boards before last year and the excuse for why the team didn't play better in '13. Now let's just ship our best bench scorer out to pick up a defensive player.. I think some guys haven't let go of their dislike for Shabazz since the night he was drafted. I see a player that put the work in and improved more than any other player over the course of one year . Some of his teammates could maybe learn a thing or two from him.

You're preaching to the choir here. I don't know what Bazz can do to get people off of his case and say "he's part of this core. He needs to be here"

Bazz hasn't played more than 38 games in a season yet and somehow we're going to really miss him if we trade him for someone else. Really? He hasn't even made it through half an NBA season yet. He has a limited but effective skill set. If you can get a more well rounded player you do it. If Pek is relegated to the bench with Lavine or Martin I don't see a scoring problem with the second unit.
