I was a Lakers fan in the Shaq days. Once he left I sort of left the bandwagon I guess. I still wanted the Wolves to win of course, maybe that upset me, losing to them was it 2004? Yeah I think I was officially only Wolves since.

Smart is a frustrating player. Kills the offense and great on D. Coaches must have a hard time reigning in his bad shots since he tries so hard.

Sort of like Okogie except Okogie isn't as good of course. I can accept guys that play hard, I can't be a fan of guys who half ass though like Wiggins did. Why should we cheer for guys that don't even give 100 percent?
I think he wanted to be "the guy." But never played like it.
If guys like Okogie and Smart can just hit the open 3's at a nice clip they are very valuable.

I get your take... and you acknowledge that Okogie isn't nearly as good.
But Smart is SO MUCH better it almost makes the comparison obsolete.
Smart is the type of guy who does 10 little subtle things that don't show up in the stat sheet that helps a team win... every single game.

Right now starting Centers if everything held. Bam, Thies, mcgee, zabac.
Wings win in NBA.

Wings win in NBA.
I mean, leaving out Anthony Davis by specifying "centers" is pretty choosy.
The main issue is that there just aren't
that many dominant bigs in the game right now. That's a big reason why teams started finding ways to play and win without them. Necessity. Not because they can't win with them.

Since 2010 there has been 1 all nba center to make the conference finals in the same year they were All NBA

To be fair, Davis wasn't winning a ton without arguably the game's second best player ever... who happens to be a creative wing.
