Jaylen Brown TRADED to Philly for Paul George, 2 firsts and 2 2nd's!!!!!
Good. Stay out East!
Strikes me as a terrible trade for Boston. If I were a Celtics fan I’d be furious right now. As a Wolves fan I’m thrilled that Jaylen Brown in staying in the East.

Tobias Harris to the Spurs
I think this is great for San Antonio. The strong get stronger. The Lakers have had a very good day today. The West just keeps getting tougher and tougher.

I actually hate the lakers offseason.
Reeves max (overpay)
Kessler (overpay) not even including the picks
Grimes/Sandro/Sexton I like them all in a vacuum but they gave them long term money for mostly one spike year of production (besides Sexton)
I don’t think they are a top 5 team in the west with 0 tradable assets
I had the opposite reaction, kek. But I definitely prefer our roster.

WHOA.... trading for a 36 yo PG is wild to me lol
Hard to build contenders with super max contracts in the apron era. Wolves will have a decision with Ant coming up also
I've always felt that when a team keeps its own player and goes above the max that other teams could give, that extra money should be salary cap exempt. If the league is serious about teams getting to keep their home grown talent, this is the way.
We have seen many times that these contracts get too big and teams have to get out from them. Example is when Jimmy Butler was traded to us before he could get his big raise.
That said, I'm pissed if I'm a Celtics fan.
I agree with you but the league does not want that they want what is happening now. Non stop trades to keep them in the news cycle

I get that. In a vacuum I don’t dislike any move even though I think Reeves and Kessler are overpays in the apron era. But all together I hate it. Just think they locked themselves into a meh team with no assets with no big upside assuming Kessler doesn’t take a big jump

Reaves/Grimes/Luka/Sandro/Kessler
Who plays defense other than Kessler. The rest are average or plenty worse.
Sexton, Ayton, Vando, Bronny bench?
No picks. No real promising youth on tiny contracts.. No real moves to be made for two years.
Not worried about them at all.

76ers winning the East if Embiid stays healthy. 4-6 seed otherwise.
That could have been said for the last 5 seasons

Legit don't think the string of transactions is all the impressive.
It's a lot of shooting around Luka which is good for them but it Swiss cheese on defense unless Kessler takes a massive leap.
Austin Reeves is such a interesting case. Legitimately one of the best bucket getters in the league that has had consecutive drops in the post season and is a horrible, horrible defender.
They also still have an Ayton problem.... Not sure I understand why they chose to extend him and trade for Kessler.

76ers are a problem even without Embiid now. Maxey, Edgecombe, Brown is a problem 1/2/3. With a healthy Embiid that is a nightmare.
Why they would load up the 76ers for life after Embiid is beyond me.

It’s such moot point cause you cant even say Ant was on the team at this point or where the team is at this point if they don't make the Rudy trade.
So whats the point of talking about hypothetical picks that would could have if we didn't trade Rudy?
What if we didn't trade up for dilly and still had our pick and just drafted ayo at our original pick?
My point is whats the point of talking about it doesn't exist.
Last comment on this as I'm not trying hijack the thread. It's not what if hindsight. Many of us thought TC could have pulled off the same trade with 1-2 less 1sts going out (Getting Rudy was good despite overpaying on picks). The only reason it's currently relevant to mention is the moves they have made so far and how the added ammo would have made those moves easier or more fruitful.
To the one relevant part of your comment with regards to my posts, It's easy to always say "why bother talking about past things", but also why bother responding to it then..
Because i mostly just read now because everyone here has never respected any opinion. I know for a fact Lip has not quoted me once in 8 years on this board not tried to have one conversation lol.
I basically drop by to see what Q and Kek are saying about the team. Thought i share insight that rehashing the Gobert trade so we would have more picks to have ammo to trade is just plain stupid. I also think LaMelo is worth two first round picks that Kessler got so maybe one of the imaginary Rudy picks could've gone there.
Back to being a reader thanks for convo
