Good numbers indeed...surprising he's not mentioned in the Twins top 30 prospects.

Well is a bit early and what wasn't mentioned in this article was he wasn't even in the top 200 ranked players for this year's draft! They did sign him for well under slot and the bat wasn't the question it was whether he could stick at catcher. We will see but some encouraging stuff here as well as Garver hitting this season. Meanwhile John Ryan Murphy...

I like this Willians Astudillo guy. ;) I don't know what the plan is for him going forward but I'm glad they added him to the organization in the offseason.

Ha, terrible acting by the pitcher, and the baserunner still didn't get it! The pitcher holds his glove up in the air for about 5 seconds too long before he figures out what Astudillo is doing.


I wouldn't want to be that baserunner walking back to Dougie Baseball's dugout after that blunder!
