I know the Warriors are missing Steph Curry, but they had most of their regulars available including Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Jordan Poole. That's a good win for Los Angeles.

I agree it's a good win for them but there are still problems there based on what I saw. We can play the game of who played well and who didn't for each team. Klay went 5-21 including 3-13 from 3. I agree that the Lakers could be coming but I'm just saying that team...it's still flawed.

For sure, they had too many problems to fix at the deadline to solve all of them, but they did get much better and more talented, in my opinion. I think we both would expect them to make the play-in tournament if relatively healthy, no? That's all I'm getting at. They're 13th right now while Utah is 11th. I can see both teams being top-10 by season's end. Minnesota better not be one of the teams that falls out.

Post-trade 3-point shooting contest: Wolves: 47.5% Ex-Wolves on Lakers: 11.1%

Nice game for DLo and Beas though: 10 assists and only 3 TOs.

Difficult to know who to cheer for in this one...I suspect the Warriors will easily pass us if Curry returns soon, but I'm reasonably confident we'll finish ahead of the Lakers...the age and health of their two stars will hurt them down the stretch.
