One could argue KAT should be getting even more assists.

Wiggins and LaVine are even worse....These guys consistently settle for some really tough shots when an extra pass would be merited.

Those guys, especially Wiggins, don't get near the touches that KAT does. Now a large part of that is Wiggins fault, but if he isn't looking for his own offense he would have a tough time scoring 15 ppg. So what do you want him to do when he does get a touch, look to pass or score? I think we need him to score.

Does he have a quota to make or something? He should look to score when the situation dictates it. He's averaging 20 PPG so far, so he is being fairly aggressive looking for his shot. It would be nice if his flourishes to the basket occasionally led to an easy bucket or open shot for someone else. He's averaging a paltry 1.4 assists so far this season, which is almost as anemic as his rebounding! All three of these guys - LaVine, Wig, and KAT - need to do better at moving the ball, cutting without the ball, and finding the open man.

I think the point is back to guys taking tough shots when they don't have to. Sometimes I think scorers take tough looking shots but they are their shots so SOMETIMES it's fine. Other times it probably makes sense to move the ball. Some of it is their awareness as individual players but some is also them knowing where their teammates are in the offense. I don't know how different it is or isn't from what they were doing last year but Inwould imagine it's at least a bit of a factor.
