So Cleveland is the number 2 seed and they still haven't figured it out yet. The whole league should be praying they don't fully figure it out or it will be game over. The trade is still a win-win and if they win a title this year I don't see how they don't get the automatic win for the trade. The only way the trade even becomes a win for us in that situation is multiple titles which is nice to think about but very difficult to do.

I disagree on Cleveland. There's one reason and one reason only that they're the #2 seed, and that's #23. People can talk about James Harden for MVP, Russell Westbrook for MVP, Steph Curry for MVP, etc, and they're all legitimate candidates, but so is LeBron. Just look at their record this year with him, and look at their record this year without him. It's a complete 180. Based on how they played when LeBron was out, the Cavs would be fighting with the Wolves for the #2 pick if you project that out. The Cavs don't use Love in end of game situations, LeBron doesn't trust love on the floor, Love and LeBron constantly take covert shots at eachother in the media, which I'm sure doesn't play well into lockerroom gelling. And I'm sure they could find something very productive to replace Love's cap number with in terms of replacement. In other words, I'm saying they'd be the #2 seed even if Love wasn't on the team....oh, and they'd have Andrew Wiggins, who'd likely be playing more 2 guard which seems to be a more natural fit at this point in his career.

And the only way the trade becomes a win for us is if we win multiple titles? It's ALREADY a win for us to not have his cancerous attitude in the lockerroom, a guy whose upside is even higher than Love's on the team, and a kid who's played dynamite for a teenager playing as a rookie in the NBA, while having several years left on his rookie contract.

It's an absolute no-brainer that this trade was a win for the Wolves. I'm absolutely floored that you would suggest otherwise. I bet you'd be hard pressed to find even a Cavs fan saying otherwise.

Your entire argument broke down as soon as you said this. It's not true, and it's silly because they DO have Love and they ARE the 2 seed. Not to mention that for all the hate K-Love gets, he's still averaging 17/10 while being misused on offense. Yeah, that guy sucks...

All I know is we have WIGGINS. I don't care about much else. :)

The fact that "would you rather have Love or Wiggins?" Has become a national topic merits some credit for flip. No team trading a star who wants out has ever gotten more. Flip made an A+ trade in a bad situation.

How can you say "it's not true" when it's a hypothetical? Last time the Cavs had LeBron and DIDN'T have Love, they were the #1 seed in the East. He's not on the floor in the crunch, and while he brings some things to the team, so would Wiggins, and LeBron wouldn't be needing to make Wiggins feel wanted like he does for Love. Plus they'd have better off court chemistry.

Wiggins isn't even half the player he is today if he was on Cleveland this year. The whole reason he's developed this quickly was our injuries forcing him into the spotlight early and for an extended period of time. He at best would have been the third option on Cleveland for most of the year. You can't say the player he is today is the player Cleveland would have over Love because it took our injury circumstances to make him develop faster. Meanwhile TT is needed to replace Love's 17 and 10 with his floor spacing. Sure. That's realistic. They may still be good because it is Lebron and Kyrie in the East, but they haven't put it together yet which makes them scary come playoff time.
