Jesus Christ Cam, do you even read what I write anymore or do you just pick 3 words and make it up yourself? I clearly said "IN THE 2013 PLAYOFFS."

I didn't see that you said expected. That's my fault for not seeing past tense. Anyways, what kind of run were they gonna go on? They were matched up against a Spurs team that should have won the title. Maybe they win a game in the series if Kobe is back.

I don't think there were any real expectations implied just that he likes to see Kobe do his thing. I don't like Kobe but I've respected his game for many years. That last season where he was literally carrying the team made me respect him even a little more. Its going to be interesting to see what happens there it looks like they finally decided to hire Byron Scott to coach that group.

That roster they have assembled is probably the best they could have done all things considered. I'm not expecting a playoff run but if Kobe is Kobe (which is a big question by itself) then they won't just be terrible. I won't be surprised if Randle is a 15-8 guy right away and Sacre seems to be at least a pretty good backup C and Boozer knows how to play. Lin will bring fans but can play some too and they have some young guys that could be useful Ed Davis could be really handy. Byron Scott has his work cut out for him no matter what that's gonna be a tough gig. Most likely Lakers fans are going to be spending plenty of time wondering how high of a lottery pick and what player they can get like so many other teams in the NBA have done plenty of. I have no idea why I wrote all that about the Lakers. Lol

Yep. I didn't think they were going to dominate the playoffs or anything, but Howard/Gasol/Kobe had started to play really, really well together and could have surprised the Spurs. I just wanted to see if they could, but Kobe got hurt and the Lakers got blown out.

I'm excited to see this rookie class as a whole. It's a really deep class, but there are also a lot of question marks. We could see 6-8 All Stars in this draft, or just 1 or 2, depending on how the chips fall.

I'm pretty excited about Jabari Parker. I think that kid's gonna be really good. It's rare you have a player with his size who has his range of skills in terms of rebounding, scoring, putting the ball on the floor, and playmaking. I think there's a good chance that guy is going to be really good, and if so, he'll be a lot of fun to watch.
