Yes, that much was clear from the beginning. But like you, I still don't get it. Releasing a player with a non-guaranteed who could have been included in a trade or released at any time without cap consequences makes no sense.

Good for Cam he played well enough to deserve a 2-way deal IMO. I guess according to Wolfson he did get injured this offseason. Maybe we missed out on a solid player or maybe he becomes the next Anthony Brown who looked like he was gonna be a solid bench player for the Lakers his first year or so in the league. It will be interesting to see what we do with our 2-way spots.
