I have to disagree with you on this one, Randle is grossly overpaid and not that good.
I'm still concerned that Malik Beasley is going to be egregiously overpaid. Julius Randle would immediately be the best four on this team with a play style that fits what the Wolves want to do, at least offensively. Randle also doesn't get intimidated by anyone and this team needs guys like that. I'd be all for it.
Julius Randle's turns the ball over more than Ricky Rubio. That's horrible for a big to be worse than a point guard. Plus, he can't shoot well from outside and his defensive is not that great. Plus, I don't want to touch his contract. And if Rosas punted on Wiseman, why the h*ll would he want Randle? I'd only be interested in Randle is if we got some nice draft picks to take on his contract.
Randle has the same career AST/TO as Towns. Why would you compare a big to a point guard in that regard? Weird. He also wouldn't be handling the ball as much in Minnesota as he has the last couple seasons. Randle isn't a prominent three-point shooter, but what four on this roster is? Hernangomez? Randle does a lot of other things much better than him and every other four on this roster.
But you definitely view players differently than me so this is right on brand.

Well, that pretty much kills the dream. :) I believe this report for two reasons. First, it's Jon K, who is highly reliable and well plugged into the Wolves organization. Second, Rosas has been intently focused on bringing Beasley back since last February when he acquired him. A friend of mine who knows people in the Wolves organization said that Rosas started recruiting Beasley to return the moment Malik arrived here. Rosas falls in love with certain players - DLO, Beasley and Rubio are three of them. And Rosas isn't going to give up on one of his signature acquisitions last February.
All I can say is this. First, I think Beasley is seriously depraved and not the sort of guy I'd want to count on goring forward. Second, I just hope the Wolves don't overpay him. Maybe the Knicks will make a sign-and-trade offer Rosas can't refuse.
Malik Beasley has been made available in trades and the Knicks are interested.
Per Dane Moore
Beasley wants to play on a coast but wants to get paid 1st
Malik Beasley needs to shut his mouth and prove through intelligent action. He is in no area to demand a single thing. If any of this is true, and he keeps this up, Malik is becoming the NBA's Antonio Brown

But Future - Malik is part of our Timberwolves family. We always stand by our family members no matter what. We love him and want him to stay with us no matter how much money be demands or how badly he wants to leave and play on a coast. :)

Randle has the same career AST/TO as Towns.
One quibble with that... the two men are trending in opposite directions.
Town's assists keep going up... 4.4 per game last season. 3.1 TOs. Randle averaged 3.1 assists and a career high 3.0 TOs.
Interestingly, both men are notorious for offensive fouls... with Towns leading the league in 2019.
Randle is only a decent player with the ball in his hands. He is not good on the other end. We dont need more of those. We just drafted another #1. We need complimentary off-ball players all around.
I would go for Nance Jr. before Randle, and I personally do not like either idea.
