I would trade D-Will for Jeff Taylor if they would. MKG would be good, but I can see them not trading him yet. He would be perfect here though on this team filled with scorers.

Hey! Maybe Chase Budinger will be available in a month or two...

LOL you are an odd one.

Where would Williams fit in the frontcourt? Do the Bobcats think Williams is a legit starting caliber 3 man?
Because the team made two HUGE commitments within the past 5 months.

1. $40+M over 3 years for Al Jefferson.
2. Drafting Zeller higher than expected at #4.

To blow that up so quickly would be a PR disaster, to take on another team's discarded never-was. Even giving up on Gilchrist so quickly would be a major PR hit.

Good to see Markkbu up to his old tricks. Again.

I don't know how it will play on such a small forum, but good luck to you.

Dude, if you are going to be so wrong, learn to do it a bit more gracefully. I mean, come on, "You'd be the only person in the world that would say Ariza is better than Beal." Yep, it would just be me, and those other people that use numbers. Most of the people that don't use numbers might agree with you.

Obviously looking at last year.

Ariza Beal
WS/48 .102 .082
WS 3.1 3
PER 14 13.9
TS% .538 .515
eFG% .501 .477

Do you need me to continue?

Beal may end up being better than Ariza in the future, but for now, we just have your opinion versus a bunch of facts.

Taylor is a good 3 and D guy. I've liked him since Vanderbilt.

I'm glad you could find five advanced statistical categories that support your opinion. Props to you. I wish other posters in this forum would say what they think about our Ariza/Beal debate because as long as it's just me vs you, no conclusion can be made other than we both think we're right.

If we want to use PER, TS% and WS... then Nene > Beal AND Ariza.

Ariza and most of the other realistic SF targets are slightly better than what we have now. Ariza is maybe a little better than Brewer and only because he has the legit length to play SF. He sucks at putting the ball in the basket overall just like Brewer. To me lets lets a few games go by and see if someone emerges (or not) and see what may need to be done. Maybe we have the answer to the SF spot on the roster. Probably not (or not for this year) but lets see what happens we have some guys with some talent lets hope someone gets time and shows something.
