Turiaf is a nice guy, but he has to go if he physically can't help.

Gee, what a shock. The Blazers got up 33 3-point attempts and Wes Mathews went 6-10. Meanwhile, we put up a total of 9 attempts, only three more than Wes made all by himself. Amazing. Flip's philosophy basically means we're bringing a squirt gun to a pistol fight every night.
I guess the moral victory is that Portland had to play their starters until the end. I didn't expect that. Our guys played hard and 'Bazz had a heck of a game offensively. Those were the two bright spots.

3 pointers would come a lot easier if we could play inside out. We got nothing inside right now. Aldrige completely destroyed us.

Anybody think there's a high chance that Andrew Wiggins turns into Kawhi Leonard? I fail to see any differences in their games other than body thickness and rebounding. Leonard's probably the most reasonable expectation too instead of T-Mac or MJ.
How would everyone feel if that's what Wiggins career turned into? Finals MVP, sure, but still unclear if he'll be a franchise carrier. Thoughts?

I think Kawhi Leonard is a good comp. One thing is for certain - he can definitely defend. And typically improvements defensively happen more gradually over a longer period of time. He's only going to get better and better on that side of the ball and I think he's good right now. When he's 21 or 22, he will absolutely be lockdown.
What's a bit ironic is if his offense improves as much as we all want it to, his defense may suffer since he'll have to take on more of the scoring load. Only a couple of the games' greatest wings have been able to defend at an elite level AND be the alpha dog scorer. Jordan and Kobe come to mind. LeBron....not so sure. I think his defense has fallen off a bit the last couple of years, albeit still very good.
Along with Kawhi, the other comps I like are something along these lines: Harrison Barnes, DeMar DeRozan, Trevor Ariza, or Paul George. I still have a hard time seeing his ceiling any higher than last year's version of Paul George, but that's still a damn good two-way player.

Thats a good comparisson for drew. Kawhi is very good. Personally, I believe wiggins will be better than kawhi though. The natural talent and physical gifts of wiggins is just at an elite level. Kawhi is no slouch in those departments either but i just feel kawhi will be a medium of what wiggins will be and he has a much higher ceiling that he can reach.
