Some quick notes from around the NBA:

- Cooper Flagg with a dud debut so far. -25 in 22 minutes with a few minutes left in the 3rd!

- Minott and Garza in Boston's regular rotation tonight off the bench. Didn't do much. Oh, Minott accumulated 4 fouls in 14 minutes. I'm sure he got turned sideways a bunch and had to foul when trying to recover.

- Utah comes out of the gate spanking the old and tired Clippers.

- VJ Edgecomb with an impressive debut. Eat your heart out Cooper!

Edgecomb looked amazing in Philly when I saw that last preseason game. He might be the steal of this draft.

With the Vikings flailing, I'm now watching Indy/Okc. Nembhard is out, so Indy now has no real PG. And yet they're hanging with OkC. Coaching?

Well, you could argue OKC has no real PG!

Shai is a modern day scoring PG. One of the more impressive things about him is his ability to keep his TOs in check while taking on such large scoring and play making responsibilities. Career average of 2.3 TOs per game and last year only 2.4.

OKC's secret sauce is their massive turnover differential. Last season they averaged 11.7 TOs per game and forced 17 per game. It's like getting a head start of five extra possessions every game!

In a losing OT effort at Golden State. Damn, the West is tough!

Along with Luka missing today's game, I also see KAT is out for the Knicks. When did NBA players forget there is a difference between being hurt and injured? The league is a bit of a mess.

Minott and Garza both on the court for the Celtics at crunch time. That's a sentence I never thought I would write.
