I'll always remember you Shane Heal.

Sure, he only made less than 27% of his shots (less than 19% of his threes) while in Minnesota... but he just needed more time. So, he left the NBA for 6+ years. When he returned, he shot 29% (22% on threes) for the Spurs. IMPROVEMENT!

The Wolves were just a bit too early on the blonde sharpshooting Steve Kerr wannabe.
Heal paved the way for others...

Rubio never turned into the player I thought he would be. He was still solid though and had a nice NBA career. I wish he could have played with the Butler/KAT/Wigs team, and we would have shipped Dlo out for round 2.

Players I thought would be solid/good? The list is endless.

With that out of the way, one that comes to mind. Skittles, Michael Beasley. All the talent in the world. I really thought we had made one of those great minor trades the great organizations always make. The Heat needed the cap space, and we were able to grab the 2nd overall pick. I figured he'd take a lead role here and get at least a few All-Stars.

Honorable mention: Zach Lavine. I was pissed we traded him instead of Wiggins. I loved that we got Butler, but at that point couldn't stand Wiggins and wanted him gone. Zach while talented never came close to what I thought he would be.

Interesting on Lavine. In my mind he has had a pretty good career I would say he met or exceeded my expectations and I was always a fan of his. Add in his 2 Slam Dunk wins and being a 2 time all star while turning into an efficient high volume scorer. I get some people question whether he is a winning player and injuries have been an issue but the issue with him is that he was good enough to get paid and that became a bit of a problem.

I think while Wiggins became a winning player and helped win a championship, I think I'm more disappointed in how he really stalled out offensively. I recognized he had some flaws but it was like at some point he just lost it.

The Warriors won ALOT, with Curry, Dray and Klay despite whoever else was on their roster. I don't believe Wiggins is an actual winning player. Look at his bum ass on every other team he has been on.

I forgot about Zach. Man if he decided to play defense he would have been a top 10 player for a spell there, didn't he avg 30+ppg on nice efficiency? He's probably the one Wolf I thought would be great and just turned out good. I still think he was a good player, can't say great though. Gotta play defense.

I soured on Wiggins real fast. I thought he was a bum with his turn around long two bricks. Ok it looks pretty, but man he shoots bad % and plays hard twice a year and never rebounded or took a charge. He'll give you that one 40-10 game and then go back to being a bum for three months.
