Brooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe intends to sign a new two-year, $20 million deal to return to the franchise, sources tell ESPN. Nets declined Sharpe's team option to do a new contract, just as they did with Josh Minott.

Well there goes an option for a bunch of teams. Malik has to be up there with guys that fumbled an opportunity to make millions of dollars. He could have made more money on his 2nd contract but that that incident which lowered his cost. and then after finding a spot and increasing his value on the court the Pistons were gonna give him a healthy deal last off-season. He has to have cost himself at least 50 million and that doesn't count any future contracts even at the vet min. He is also 1 year short of the 10 year mark for the max NBA pension benefits.

Ed Davis was also indicted so he won't be returning to play PF for the Wolves.

Well, my Malik Beasley dream is headed for a lifetime ban from the NBA and maybe going to prison. ☹️. Player skills can be developed and player flaws or weaknesses can be corrected or improved. But there’s no fix for stupid!

Just in: Miami Heat forward Andrew Wiggins intends to a sign a three-year, $64 million contract to stay with the franchise, with a player option in the third season, sources tell ESPN. Heat executives and Wiggins' agents at CAA sports Steven Heumann and Andrew Morrison, as well as Richard Clarke, came to terms on a critical commitment.

Free agent center Thomas Bryant intends to sign a one-year deal to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources tell ESPN. Bryant averaged 12.2 minutes and 6.2 points over 60 games for the Cavs, who worked with Mark Bartelstein and Zach Kurtin of @PrioritySports on the new contract.

Bryant was on my list of possibilities. Oh well...
