This scared offense isn't gonna be able to win the game. Push the ball down the field. They're just eating up everything short just like the second half of last weeks game. Kirk has had plenty of time today to throw the ball down the field.

I'm guessing since they normally only rush 4 that the deep routes are doubled with safeties. The only shot 1 on 1 was on the 3rd and with the TD pass. I don't think the deep passes will open up as long as we can't run the ball and force the safeties down.

Maybe try more screens to Cook, they didn't work last week but maybe they will now. More swing passes to him. Some crossing routes underneath to Thielin and Diggs.

Throwing the ball underneath has been completely shut down today as has running the ball. The only way their defense opens up is if we take some shots down the field.

We have 4 above average to great receiving weapons. I refuse to believe they are ever all wrapped up in a blanket. The short throw to Cook that Bosa broke up had a wipe open Irv Smith the level behind him in 1 on 1 coverage. You can't double everyone. He's just not finding them today.

We have 4 first downs and they've doubled us up in possession. Really bad offensive performance today. Great defense or not we've hung our D out to dry today.

Cousins and our line still sucks. Hmmm

Niners have the best pass defense in the league this season. Probably the best front 4 too. This is not a surprise our OLine and passing game suck. I expected it.
