When I was in Vegas I considered going to an Aces game. I think they were playing the Fever one of those games and yeah pieces were pretty high. There was another game in July I was there they were playing a lesser team and tickets were much cheaper. I think Vegas probably has plenty of people wanting to go to games in general though. For example I thought maybe it would be cheap to go to a Raiders game last November since you know they suck. Not really. Lol

You make a good point, Kek. WNBA attendance has two headwinds: weather (nobody likes to be inside in Minnesota in the summer) and having to compete for the limited sports dollar with baseball. Lynx attendance is already soaring...if the Twins aren't playing next summer, we will see a big increase.

Couldn't agree more. I'm ashamed to admit I admired his game when he was at Hopkins. He lost me though when he shoved (beat up?) the security guard at MOA and got suspended by the Gophers.

But then again: White/Collier/McBride/Williams/Miles sounds like a championship team to me

If I were a WNBA GM I’d draft him for team chemistry. He’d be that great locker room presence and glue guy who brings everyone together. .

Royce is a year older than me. Probably played on the best Minnesota high school team of all time at Hopkins. We would have played him if we didn’t get upset in sections.

But I had two high school teammates that played AAU with Royce. They told a story that he got kicked out of De lasalle because he didn’t wear his school uniform so a teacher told him to go to the principal office and he said “bitch do you know who I am, I am De lasalle”


Fantastic Basketball player but terrible human. I love they are doing this because they want to protect women but Royce has a no contact with his wife for beating her and their son.

Also are we sure Royce would be good he can’t play away games because he can’t fly. Haha.


I know they are doing it as a joke but 0.0% him and Enes get drafted. A year ago a player named Sedona Prince was projected mid/late first round pick but she had multiple past domestic abuse charges and went undrafted.


WNBA has done a good job keeping “good” people in the WNBA

Good Lynx game going right now tied 48-48 at the half in Vegas. Natasha Howard appears to have caught the Minnesota bad hands by centers disease. Hasn't been able to catch nor pick the ball up off the floor. The Lynx gave up a 2nd quarter run after building a nice lead. They kept getting beat back on defense and were turning the ball over on offense. A'Ja looks like the best player in the league.

The Lynx hold on. I told you Kek, I'd rather see this team play on the road against the defending champs than host one of the dregs of the league.
