But Santiago Aldama would fill the bill, with the rest of the roster filled out with vet minimums. TC might be able to get the deal done without including TJ, which would probably eliminate the return of Bones.

Hard to say how much might be accomplished tonight...
not to pour cold water on this, but Memphis doesn't save any money on dealing Aldama and have a team option on him.

He might just stay.

Hendricks is more available, but they don't have the salary to go with him that gets them to take Green.

Ok, for real.

Could this LeBron thing actually happen?

After an adjustment last year, I think he played well off the ball with Luka this year, though obviously, he's probably not going to want to get out in transition.

Still, if he actually would sign with us, is there any world in which we say "sorry, we're leaning towards Harrison Barnes or Santi Aldama"?

Torn on the whole LeBron thing.

For one.... How the hell would they even afford him
Second, him starting guarantees Jaden remains the team wing stopper which.... I just don't want to happen anymore.

But

How fucking cool would it be for Bron to end his career winning a ring in Minnesota!? Lol a guy can dream

Well Miami, Cleveland and Golden State don't have much money to offer him. LeBron supposedly wants to compete, first and foremost. The Wolves would arguably have the best chance vs those other 3.

if he goes to Golden State, he's taking less than the MLE to go, so money doesn't appear to be a major objective.

It would be awesome if he came here, but it's not gonna happen and I'm expecting Marvin Bagley and a lot of hyping up of TKR

Sources: LeBron James will be patient and open minded in selecting his next destination but the priority is having a realistic chance at competing for a championship. He remains committed to playing at the highest level.

Great. Let's hold up the whole PF free agency market on hold! :(
