This makes me think someone would abosorb AB contract if we decided to move him.

Nobody is taking Bennett at his current salary and why risk it making him a UFA to get him at the salary they would want. The second he gets off his top pick salary scale multiple teams will have interest in him.

I will be interesting to see how much some lesser players get. Dante looks to have gotten a 3 year 9 million deal.

Interesting the Kings sign a center and Koufus gets paid.

Will the Mavs be any better? Not sure if Mathews and Jordan are the answers.

Dirk's another year older, and how much more can Jordan give them then Chandler was? And there is no guarantee you come back the same from the type of injury Matthews has. That might be the most illogical contract that has been give out this summer. So yes, I think it's reasonable to wonder if the Mavs can improve much at all.

Nope. I predict them to miss the playoffs. Dirk is just getting too old and is joining the old man club with Kobe and KG. Somehow, Duncan defies his age, but I even expect father time to catch up with him soon.

Things seem to be playing out somewhat in our favor during FA so far. Some teams in the west getting weaker, others maintaining. Outside of the Spurs, who has improved enough for us to worry about?

Vivek has taken some shit but I actually like all the kings moves for that squad. Rondo has been down but he is a great match for Boogie. Now if Karl can check his own ego this will be a fun team to watch. I think they have the edge on us for a this year but I see both them Utah and us passing Dallas and Portland next year.

I like what Memphis had done. I was surprised no one listed them higher than #4 in the Western Conference projections thread...
