I'm sure Glen is fucking this up more than Thibs. Although both have a checkered past Glen outshines just about anyone active in sports in incompetence. I'm sure Glen was ready to make a deal when it was Johnson, Whiteside and a top 10 protected 1st.

Well, who signed Bazz to a two year deal, when nobody wanted him? That guy is hella incompetent.

So am I. But I'm afraid the Wolves front office and ownership are intent on using the Butler deal to jettison Gorgui's contract. That's really poor judgment, but it's what we've come to expect from this organization.

The mistakes Thibs has made in the past 2 years are nothing compared to what Glen has done to this franchise in the last 20. Every time that doofus puts his hand into something in the franchise it goes desperately wrong.

It's been widely reported that Bazz turned down at least more money from the Lakers to sign with the Wolves. Kind of a weird thing to bring up when there are more compelling options of saying Thibs is bad at his job.

It's funny people just eat up some of these reports like it's for sure real. Even Woj doesn't nail everything every time when it comes to these trade discussions. Remember when Thibs was all in on getting Rose for Rubio? Good times. A few months later Thibs ended up getting Rubio and cap space plus a 1st round pick. (You can complain about what he did after that trade but it was a pretty good move).

You nearly ALWAYS hear teams asked for more when a trade breaks down. What else do you think it would be? Someone insulted a guy's wife or mother or brother etc?

Alternate possibility is Butler's physical came back clean and he will be fine but his hand wrist is actually not completely 100% so he might miss a game or 2 to start the season. Miami said that was an issue and the Wolves said they still wanted a package and Miami was trying to keep it lower. Nope it's always unrealistic Thibs being stupid. If it got that close it makes zero sense that the Wolves were actually asking for the moon as it's being reported at times. Thibs is known for doing things his way to a fault. Does anyone really think he is going to suddenly change his mind and throw in some insane offer? Thibs seems pretty damn straightforward and predictable to me so that's seems unlikely.

Things that are keeping wolves-heat trade complicated is both teams likely want to dump their own fuckups, ie bad contracts they regret to each other or find a team to dump them to. Dieng, whiteside, waiters, t johnson are probably the fuckups here.

Well one team is getting a top 15 player in the league and the clear best player in the deal so they can suck it up and deal with no salary relief outside of matching salary.

Could this be it?

Hearing that the Miami Heat have made the Minnesota Timberwolves their "last, best offer." And that "They (Minnesota) know where we are at. This could and should be done by now. The season starts in a week."

Miami has made a couple of these last best offers. Riley is using social media to pressure taylor into a bad move.
