First, the possible destinations for DLO are diminishing. The Wizards just acquired Monte Morris. The Clippers are going to sign Jon Wall. The Knicks will reportedly end up signing Brunson (although that's not a sure thing). Oh, and the Hawks now have a PG to pair with Trae Young.
Second, Brogdon is still being shopped and Tyus Jones remains a free agent who's highly regarded around the league.
With fewer teams still in need of a PG, and quality PGs like Brogdon and Tyus Jones still available, the chances of trading DLO seem lower than they were before. Actually, the chances seem really low. However, it seems that PGs are pretty highly valued around the League right now as reflected in what the Hawks just gave up for Murray and what the Knicks are reportedly going to offer Brunson. So who knows
It's been reported that the Wolves are exploring a deal for Gobert that would involve DLO. I could see the Jazz wanting DLO. I really hope no such deal happens because I don't want this team to take on Gobert's salary. I'll be really unhappy if we give up anything other than DLO and Naz to get Gobert.
Anyway, we'll see what happens.
What if the market for Tyus just doesn't develop and we could get him on a cheaper deal than anyone expected. I would never rule out getting Tyus as he isn't going to hurt you and allows the Wolves to use more money elsewhere to upgrade the roster. Perhaps, the Wolves can eventually get enough playmaking out of an Ant, Wendell, Jaylen Nowell and Tyus grouping.

Sure. But first you have to move DLO and that wont be easy - unless you give him away.

Lip, if Dallas loses Brunson as is now expected, will they be favorites to land Tyus? Knicks and Washington may no longer be looking at Tyus as a starter. I assume Memphis has decided to move on from Tyus when they drafted Kennedy Chandler. But if Tyus were resigned, I'd try to trade for Chandler with a future second rounder or Naz or both.

I don't think any team is looking at Tyus Jones as a starting point guard, and rightfully so. That only seems to be a stance held by a portion of Timberwolves fans.

I'm sure the Wolves can figure out what to do with DLO. Trade him before season starts or by trade deadline, keep him as starter, move him to 6th man role or mothball him like John Wall or cut him.

The little I've was on the Tyus situation is he wants to start. That does not happen hear if Dlo is not traded. I'm still in the don't trade Dlo just to trade dlo

If the Wolves are considering Rudy, why not consider Ayton as well. He'd be a cheaper and younger option.

If the Wolves like Tyus more than DLO, it could absolutely happen whether or not DLO is traded.

Think the issue there is the would want win now pieces and Dlo doesn't fit. Beasley would come off the bench. The jazz are a different spot then the Suns are

Sure but I think it would be terrible for team chemistry because Dlo does not suck and he would be benched. You can say suck it up but that's not how it works. Big locker room distraction in my opinion
