Anything but the number 1 and I make that deal. The Greek freak is a starting SF in this league going into year 3 next year which is usually the year guys really show who they are going to be. It's an opportunity to not lose any potential for stardom with a more seasoned player. A Ricky/Wiggins/Giannis starting 3 will be the cream of the crop of perimeter defense in the league. Giannis also hit almost 35% from 3 last year which isn't great but if he can get back to that level working off the ball combined with Wiggins at around 37% gives us at least respectable 3 pt shooters around Ricky. Henson always seems to put up decent stats in starters minutes, but just never seems to get the nod which I think he should here as a great fit next to Pek. A starter/ potential star and a rotation player would be a fair deal for a 2-5 pick if they really like someone. I don't see it happening, but I'd do it if they offered.

You argue with me about fit when it comes to Stanley Johnson because of shooting, but Giannis is acceptable to you? How in the world is that consistent? Yeesh.

Giannis shot 35% from NBA 3 last year. Last I checked Johnson hasn't taken an NBA 3 in his career yet. One has shown it at this level and the other hasn't. It's literally as simple as that. You're just projecting what Johnson can do, but he could easily pull a Stauskas shooting 3's next year vs. being an acceptable shooter. Giannis is also a better prospect than Johnson and they are going to be pretty close in age so you take the guy with two years under his belt over yet another rookie who may not show anything for 2 years after being drafted.

And yet Giannis has made five total threes this year. Yeah, he's not fooling anybody with that stroke. We all know it's not good.

And Johnson's already stronger, bigger (not longer) and more skilled offensively than Giannis. It's not like Giannis is a scoring machine. It's 12 PPG on 49% shooting. Acceptable, but not terrific by any means. Excuse me, but I could see Stanley doing that very early while providing better production in other areas, rebounds and assists for instance.

Stanley's still 18 if I'm not mistaken. I'd much rather go with him than Giannis. I like Giannis, but do not think he's a better prospect than Stan.

The Giannis debate doesn't matter since unless we get Okafor, I have a hard time seeing the Bucks giving him up. He is still only 20 and could end up being a jack-of-all-trades wing that does a little bit of everything quite well. I'd certainly love to have him on the Wolves because I think he is a major disruptor defensively, almost in an Andrei Kirilenko way where he can guard people out on the wing AND provide some weakside shotblocking; very rare combination, not to mention the fact he can handle and pass a bit too.

Giannis is very highly coveted around the league. Bucks would be crazy to give him up. He will probably be better than Parker when all is said and done.
