Some franchises (and fanbases) don't dig perpetual crappiness.

It's been 10 years since Phoenix made the playoffs. From 1977 - 2010... the Suns failed to make the playoffs only 6 times.

5 of the franchise's worst 6 seasons have come in the past 8 seasons (other season was expansion year in '69).

Maybe they're just tired of losing? I won't blame any pro team for trying to win games.

I don't consider 8-0 in the bubble to be a sign of losing and besides Ayton missed most of the year and if Ayton, Booker and company are healthy, I think the Suns are winners either way.

Ok. And...?

The suns gave up a lot to get Chris Paul? Not in my mind. They gave up a solid starting PG and a decent young player that's on the last year of his deal for a future HOF player that has 2 more seasons on his big contract. Is it possible he gets hurt and or simply can't play anymore? Sure. It's also possible he is worth the extra 25 or so million than if they paid Rubio.

OKC gets back a couple valuable players and gets almost out from under the big contracts of guys they had previously. Rubio will help them win games if they want to go that route. It's a solid deal for both teams IMO.

Agree with this take. OKC is loading up on picks and dumps an aging all star in the process.

Oh and Paul is an asshole.

Now CBSSports is saying the Wolves will just stand pat and pick Edwards.

Rosas knows now that Booker dream is dead. The Wolves have 3 final cracks at that third star: at 1, at 17, and at 33. Rosas has to understand.

He made $30M+ last season... how much of a paycut is he willing to take?
