Westbrook is in that danger zone of point guards at age 31/32 where many start a precipitous decline, especially someone like him who is so reliant on fearless drives to the hoop.

If he wants out of Houston I can't imagine he'd want into Minnesota.

I still haven't wrapped my head around how much money these guys make at the 32+ age range.

This isn't baseball.

The experiment ended poorly in the playoffs, with Westbrook sucking balls trying to return from injury.

But he actually had a good season in Houston... especially after a relatively slow start.

27.2 ppg
7.9 reb
7.0 apg
47.2% fg
Those TOs though... 4.5 TOs.

The problem is he uses a TON of possessions to get those points. He's still a plus player and does a lot of good things, but I just worry he's within a year or two of crossing into borderline liability territory. His game isn't built off of touch or craftiness.

Sure. There's definitely a path where things get very ugly...

He is a player you devise a team around. It can't be any other way.

There are not many teams left for that. The two I see most viable are knicks or magic.
