Paul Millsap or Markieff Morris and I'm cool. Settling for Juan Hernangomez is super bleh.

I would really like one of those as our MLE player, but I left both off my list because I didn't think either one was realistic for the Wolves. Turns out Millsap has signed with Denver. I'm not surprised. I think Morris will stay with LA or, if not, he'll go to a bona fide contender. If it's a choice between teams offering the MLE, Minnesota will be one of the last options for quality older vets.

If I wanted to go with young upside, I'd sign Giles. If I wanted the best rim protector, I'd sign Noel. If I wanted the biggest to add some size and toughness to the interior, I'd sign Alex Len. If I wanted the best stretch-4 in the group, I'd sign Saric, although he's restricted. Henson would be another rim protector.

I'd sign Nerlens Noel among this bunch and I'd start him. We need a defensive presence somewhere and he was quietly very productive in a reserve role for the Thunder the last two years. He's also not quite 27-years old yet so there's still plenty of basketball left in him.

Il go with Giles. He has untapped potential and has the talent to be a legit starter in the league.

WCS is next as he gives us size and could play together with KAT on the court.

Len and Henson are possibilities if they could be had for cheap.

I dont see rosas going after noel, tristan or saric.

Does anyone seriously think the Wolves will not be re-signing Juan?

It may seem "bleh", but I think he is an important player for the Wolves to retain. He fits the style of play the Wolves are determined to play and has the experience showing he can get the job done (ie 3-point shooting).

But I agree with everyone on the need to add a defensive presence / rim protector to the mix. I hope it happens. I am not worried about the roster spots. That will resolve itself by the time the season starts, with Evans and Spellman most likely gone. Which would also open a spot to bring back McLaughlin.
