As someone who was set on us drafting Edwards number one I am officially spooked after reading that most recent ESPN interview.

I had the same thought Kek

Wasn't that the problem with Justin Patton too?

Patton, Pek, Oden

I could see a scenario where Edwards goes south. I could also see a scenario where KAT steps up his leadership with all he's gone through and takes Edwards under his wing. I love Edwards talent and actually think KAT may be a good personality match for him. KAT loves video games and the NBA life, but he takes the craft seriously. Both have had painful losses in family in recent times. Maybe it is a perfect fit for our team and good timing for us to capitalize on. We already know what the opposite looks like, but with our team any of these prospects could blow up.

Welcome to the club Bloop! It's getting crowded though, so it's tough to stay 6 feet apart. Stay safe!

I've been on and off each of the top 3 bandwagons for these last few months. I am also spooked by Edwards thought process. I have settled on Ball. I get the sense he wants to be great. I will get excited about any of them though, per usual.

Patton broke his fort the first workout he did with the Wolves. Okongwu only broke a toe so he SHOULD be fine but I do admit it still worries me a little. Pek was more of an ankle injury than a foot problem. That's why we should draft guards and hope they have bad ankles. Lol Remember when it looked like Curry's career was sort of in jeopardy because of bad ankles?

I feel more confident in Ryan Saunders shepherding Edwards through those tough times than I have Towns. Heck Edwards might be able to help Towns Process losing family. I'd guess Towns hasn't come close to really processing losing his mom yet.

The thing about Ball is at least you can look beyond his clownish Dad and see his older brother Lonzo soberly go about his career. That doesn't mean LaMelo will follow suit, but there is some indication of substance vs. style there.

Still...my issue with Ball isn't his Dad - it's his skills. Great passer and ball-handler. Poor defender, poor shooter, poor finisher, poor shot selection. Lots to overcome.

Lol Q. I'm staying so far away I'm not even watching this thing live. Wednesday nights I volunteer so I'll be chining in later as I watch the Recorded train wreck or trade down band wagon. Maybe everyone should have someone do a wellness check on them tonight.
