If what we're seeing with Wiggins is real and sustained (and I'm not sure it is yet), then to me that seriously changes the calculus for our front office and creates a much more realistic path for constructing a serious playoff-caliber roster.

I agree. No doubt that Wiggins has been very good overall so far this season. But he's shown flashes of the old Wiggins too. And tonight's game against the Suns was enough to push me across the threshold in favor of dealing Wiggins as soon as we can while we can sell high. I don't know how "high" we'd be selling him, but I see his value right now at its highest point in a long time.

He was bound to regress at some point after a really hot 10-game stretch. I'd be tempted to do the same, but I just don't see the Wolves even contemplating such a move.

As Crazy mentioned before, we need more of a 3&D type PG that can game manage and allow Wiggins plenty of touches to operate (and KAT too). Culver seems like a great candidate for this because he is unselfish and has the "D" part down. He just needs to get an outside shot.

I think we should offer up Teague and Dieng for Chris Paul. OKC cuts around 25 mil in salary next season and we get a more capable PG for a couple of season while we develop a replacement.

Two beyond this one and the 2nd at 44 mil. No way Taylor pays the luxury tax to be a 6 seed. I dont hate that deal personally. I just think it would be totally out of character for Taylor to ok it.

I would sell too, but it obviously depends on what comes back. I actually think this new coaching has helped him turn into at least not a negative player VORP. He's finishing better I think around the rim better then I have ever seen, very nice touch on the finger rolls, etc. I don't know for sure, it just seems like he is. His 3P shot still looks mediocre at best though. His handle seems better then ever.

I'm keeping Wiggins unless I sort of get blown away by some Package by a team. I don't see how that Suns game is what makes someone want to deal him. It made me more want to keep him because of his D and he had a number of effort plays too.

I'm keeping Wiggins unless I sort of get blown away by some Package by a team. I don't see how that Suns game is what makes someone want to deal him. It made me more want to keep him because of his D and he had a number of effort plays too.

Like with any trades, it all depends. I think he is closer to matching his contract now then before (where he was likely a negative Two 1st round value or so), but we still need to see some more improvement and longevity as well. I think it's more likely he stays where he's at versus getting much better or worse. It seems this offseason he is actually listening to the coaches, he's been booed at home, ripped by the media pundits. I don't think he wants anything to do with old Wiggins.
