Hockey, I don't necessarily disagree with your take here, but the team is running it's starters big enough minutes that one would think Thibs could find a way to get Tyus some more minutes, even if that means pairing him up with Dunn for stretches, especially since Dunn is big enough to guard most 2's.
On the issue of defense, I'm not sure who around here was expecting a top 10 defense, but many of us certainly hoped for more progress than what we have seen so far.

I'm definitely on board with giving Tyus more minutes. It'd probably be good to get more rotation guys in so guys like Towns could exert more energy on the defensive side of the ball (I'd say Lavine since he's logging huge minutes, but I can tell he seems to effort pretty good). As long as we don't have to see my least favorite former Michigan State Spartan on the floor I'm good with it. I actually like all 3 of our PGs for various reasons, and think we could be set at that position..
Maybe it's time to start looking at what's going to be available in the next draft (or via trade of the pick) to replace Shabazz or add a defensive big.
On the top 10 defense thing.. I read a number of "experts" who suggested that. I was always on the side of "they'll have to break the old bad habits before Thib can build the good habits" train. That's why I'm still convinced he's the right coach for the job.

I think its time to try and swing a rubio for noel deal. I really want to see tyus get a legit shot and minutes. We can get a guy thibs could use defensively in noel. Maybe can be thibs next noah. Sixers get a guard and maybe ricky just needs a change. Both seem like they want out. Makes both teams happy. I think its hindering the development of the big 3 making the right play. They dont want to pass to the open guy who is rubio cause they dont trust him to make the shot. Ball moves so much better with tyus and the spacing is much better.

We should probably do a Rubio for Rose deal. Worst (or best?) case scenario Rose doesn't play a game here and we got 20 mil extra dough next year.

I don't see Rubio as a fit there. They plan on using Simmons as their main PG option when he's healthy and his biggest weakness is - you guessed it - outside shooting. The guy on our roster they would absolutely covet would be Zach LaVine, but I don't think anyone here would want to trade him. The Sixers need shooters and dynamic play makers.Simmons will help fulfill the playmaking role, but they need shooters to surround him and Embiid.

The 6ers need guards and I think if the Wolves offered Rubio for Noel they should seriously consider it despite the fact that I agree with you about the fit. The reality is they have a version of Rubio on their team right now TJ McConnell. IS he as good as Rubio? Probably not but he will cost alot less and at least be a capable backup,,,probably. I don't see the Wolves getting Noel either as se have discussed that plenty here.
