The whole reason he's developed this quickly was our injuries forcing him into the spotlight early and for an extended period of time. He at best would have been the third option on Cleveland for most of the year. You can't say the player he is today is the player Cleveland would have over Love because it took our injury circumstances to make him develop faster. Meanwhile TT is needed to replace Love's 17 and 10 with his floor spacing. Sure. That's realistic. They may still be good because it is Lebron and Kyrie in the East, but they haven't put it together yet which makes them scary come playoff time.
Wiggins may not be as developed as a main piece, but I bet he'd be filling his role at a higher level (in comparison to the role) than he has for us as a lead dog.
At no point did I say that Wiggins is a better player right now than Love. My suggestion is that Cleveland would still be a top 2 seed in the East (in my opinion) even if Love wasn't on the team. As far as TT replacing Love and floor spacing..that's nice and all, but Blatt seems to like TT at end of games as much/more than Love..and if they had an extra $10+ mil in salary cap space, I'm sure they'd be able to find someone to space the floor just fine.
And when Love bolts for LA this offseason, it'll show up when Cleveland is one of the top teams in the East with Love not on the team.
