Re: Potential Draft Deals
"Not so sure the Knicks go with Mudiay. He doesn't fit the triangle. I think the Kings may trade up for Mudiay. Either that or the Knicks could stand pat and take Porzingis or Winslow. Or I'm dead wrong and they pick Mudiay."
Knicks could go Mudiay/Winslow at their spot, but I fully believe Mudiay's the best talent there. The point is, if he's gone then the Kings can't get a top talent at a position to help them most so they could move the pick.

I'm not sure we would have the ammo to move up to their pick.

Re: Potential Draft Deals
Maybe, maybe not. My point was that I'd offer a LOT to get there if it meant being able to have Towns and Cauley-Stein on the Wolves. Anything other than Wiggins, LaVine, No. 1 and Rubio and I would throw it at them. That means Muhammad, Dieng, rights to Bjelica, 31, 36. If they said give us all that, I'd say "here ya go".
Re: Potential Draft Deals
I may be in the minority, but I'm not moving shabazz now. I think he's a very valuable piece for us now, so I'm not willing to trade him for possibility. His value likely increaseswhen he hits the court next year as well.

I'm with you, rubioooo...not at all willing to move Shabazz. We talk about the Wolves having the #1 pick in the 3 most recent drafts, but a year before the 2013 draft, Muhammad was the consensus #1 pick and very few people had heard of Anthony Bennett. And we got a taste for what he can bring last season. He is a truly potent offensive player, and potentially a future 6th man of the year winner. Keep him.

I'm open to trading everybody but Wiggins, but I have steep prices on LaVine and Muhammed.

I'm with you as well. Wiggins, LaVine and Shabazz are an exciting trio at the wing.
I would like to see a draft day deal that nets us a veteran backup PG (hopefully involving Bud or Bennett). Sign Bjelica & KG, and fill out the roster with bench fodder.

Re: Potential Draft Deals
I'm not trading Shabazz for just anybody or an unknown first round pick in the future, no. I value his scoring and hustle just as much as most of you here.
In the context of my post, however, I'd be looking to get Willie Cauley-Stein, who fills a much bigger void for our team than bench scorer. I'd rather have the rim protector with the lateral quickness and smarts to guard 1-5 legitimately.
Trade package including everyone NOT named Wiggins, Rubio, LaVine, No. 1 pick <<< WCS
PG: Rubio
SG: LaVine
SF: Wiggins
PF: Towns
C: Cauley-Stein
That's our hopeful future core right there. Not only is there a very good young player at every position, but you also have an identity. That team in three to five years is a defensive juggernaut, who also could have two good wing scorers and a maestro to make it all work. That's my dream in a nutshell.

That would be sweet.
