And again, go look at their 82 games page. This teams' issue is Non-KAT post minutes. The #3(?) pick should be Wiseman. I'm usually not a fan of college guys with baggage, but I saw the game he played, and I think he has it.

And I know Kahns is OK with Lavar, and that carries a lot of weight because he's usually right about oh-so-many things, but lets go through this.

So we know he has a history of stealing from his sons. But let's say for a second that this time he doesn't stop at his son (you know, the guy you just spent the NUMBER THREE pick on). Let's say he decides to show up at the facility and start billing himself to other Wolves as a "Financial Advisor", and some of them fall for it. So now you have more than one guy not thinking basketball (you know, what you allegedly watch them do). Now let's say that some of the non-Ball guys decide they are going to extract revenge on that guy's son. Which is exactly what winning basketball teams involve themselves with.

But it's so simple, says the president of the Josh Freeman fan club. Just ban the guy from the clubhouse. Great idea. He is known for not going on social media and/or TV to badmouth his sons university/proteam/teammates when he doesn't get the result he wants. I'm not even positive he has electricity. But if he were to start, maybe he says the wrong thing about the wrong teammate, and they decide to knock out the guy's son. You know, just like all winning teams.

So now you have to trade one (or possibly more). And as we all know, the other 29 teams rally around there fellow franchisee when this happens to make sure they get a fair swap.

So as a fan, I'm hoping they pass, and wait until Mary Pierce or Todd Marinovich turn pro. And Kevin Love's cousin Brian Wilson had a peach of a human being for a dad. How's Wilson's jumper looking?

This post is such a fucking joke. Lonzo handled his dad. His dad is completely irrelevant now after years of trying to matter in this world and his son is on one of the most relevant teams in the league with Zion. What irreparable damage did Lavar cause the Lakers who were filled with a ton of young recently drafted players still finding their footing in the league? He didn't do shit because he's all bark and no bite. You really think players will go to him for financial advise after what happened with BBB? You think anyone gives a shit what he has to say anymore? You're just reaching for bullshit at this point. He's irrelevant in the NBA and Lamelo isn't re-opening that door to First Take for him.

Mr. Ball concerns me to some minor extent but certainly not enough to pass on his son if I think he is the player I want.

Someone saw the Hoopshype Rumors page.

First off, Gordon is not a $17m player anymore. The Tragic have tinkered with him to the point he doesn't know whether he's coming or going. His PF minutes are now average and his SF minutes are still bad.

And besides, the blogger who started that rumor, and who may be no brighter than some of the contributors to this board, had GSW ending up with AG, ORL ending up with JJ (as if) and MIN ending up with a trade exception. For the record, I LOVE that trade. Between the cap room and that trade exception, MIN could get good fast.

I don't follow Hoopshype. I have been thinking this is going to happen for awhile. Before the trade deadline reports of Rosas inquiring on about Gordon. So at least Rosas is a little interested.

Gordon also fits the "system" as a 4, switchable defender, athletic, solid passer/ball handler and not a total 0 shooting the 3.

Of course there is risk. He's making 17 million. He hasn't broken out with the magic, sort of flatlined this year.

Now does he get better playing with better teammates and by far the best PG he has every played with. Also does his get massively enhanced when he isn't the guy and he is only playing the 4.

Also this draft is so flat that the guy we get 16 could easily be better then the guy at 3. So im willing to trade the pick for a solid player who still has upside

Ya, I have more concerns about LaMelo game then his dad. The only thing that Lavar could do is bring more negativity to the already fragile organization

I think if you trade for Gordon it's because you think you are buying low. Unless the Wolves pick is the lowest it can be...(it's the Wolves...) and even then in this draft that might be a bit of a premium for Gordon. I think the Magic would need to give something else up for me to be willing to make that deal and I agree it could be a flat draft but still picking 10 spots higher is better than not. It all depends on how you value Gordon. I like him but I don't view him as the answer at PF next to Towns. I see him more as sort of a Thad Young type which is a good player but... Because of that I don't feel like giving up a decent and money wise cheaper chance of getting a better player With that pick. The Wolves can play James Johnson at PF next year if they want to have a vet guy so they don't suck etc. if Naz Reid is legit I think that would make sense to Have him actually play Center minutes behind Towns.

Any concern that a guy that comes from a family that likes attention would find Minnesota less attractive for building his own brand? I wonder if he'd find his way out of town as soon as he could if he's having any kind of success.

So we can't get anyone good again because they might leave due to our market. Got it. Every small market team has to deal with this problem. You can't have that attitude if you ever want to succeed because every star eventually wants out of their small market. The good teams still juice 8+ years out of those guys before it gets to that point.

It was in the form of a question, just wondered if it was a concern.
