Don't stomp on this for us Lip. I think we've already proven that this is yet another Lottery Ball season. But it's been a long time between drinks, so I reckon we should enjoy the hell out of a win and a good Rubio shooting night and a pretty good game from Wig. If this really is just a mirage in the desert, we have plenty of time to get back to loitering in the draft thread.

Regarding the bolded, you can rest easy Shum, that limb you climbed out on with that prediction could support a Mack truck or ten!

I watched the Suns broadcast and they noted that over the past 20 games, Rubio is shooting some 42 percent from 3. I think q would find that satisfactory.

I hope it's a sign that he is getting improved endurance. He also landed awkwardly on his ankle a couple times but shook it off. That's not good for the narrative.

The energy of the team went up as MN realized they had a shot to win this game. This young team is fun to watch develop, can't wait until they put it all together. Belly has really turned things around after looking like he didn't belong to now finding his confidence and improving the offensive flow by being a drive and kick and 3pt threat.

Yup. And I'm selling my PorkChop shares... ;-)

This broadcast is all about throwing support to Sam Mitchell.

Ugh. Rubio has a game like and it looks so easy. My porkchop is only based on made and missed shots by him so I am naturally down to 68% Pork Chop. As long as he stays away from shots he can't make I'm happy. I'll never be down on Wiggins. He has only improved so far. When he starts regressing I will be disappointed.

I am not a Wiggins hater, but your last comment seems a bit off. Wiggins is literally down in every category compared to a year ago. From 3's, to rebounds, steals and assists. The only reason he is up in ppg is a simple shot volume increase. Again, don't dislike the guy, but he has given me pause given no statistical increase in anything. For what it's worth, I think he has superstar talent.....but his motor and effort have, and may always hold him back.

Once in a while you have to watch the games and not read the stat book. No question he's improved this year.

I think there are times when this can be true. Can you share some examples of specific things that you've noticed about Wiggins that show consistent and definite improvement from a year ago?

Didn't watch as much of the game as normal. (Obviously, I'm the bad luck charm.)

Saw some pretty decent ball movement. I like that Bjelica seems to be one of those guys that seems to be able to think two plays/moves ahead and isn't just making the obvious play.

I knew the Suns were struggling. They lost Bledsoe. Markieff Morris is an asshole. And they fired multiple assistant coaches. But I didn't know they were THAT bad. 14 out of 15? I was getting worried/hopeful that the Wolves were going to sneak into the top 3 for the lottery. But Philly has such a head start. And I don't see how the Suns recover. They are a terrible, terrible team and they've mailed it in. Plus, you have the Lakers... who lose their pick if it's not in the top 3 (I think).

We can hope the Wolves horrendous lottery luck began to reverse course with their winning the number one pick last year for the first time. Maybe this season they do that other thing they've never done before, improve their position by moving up!

Finally got to watching this game today. Yep the Suns suck but the Wolves deserve credit for playing well and looking like the clearly better team because lately they don't look clearly better than anyone.

Bazz need to keep getting run. He makes some plays.

Belly is looking like the guy we saw early in the season

Pek keeps rolling.

Nice to get an easy win
