Ooh, what a splendid idea. And you're saying this after a pretty decent game. 23 points, 6 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl. I get that his effort level isn't as high as it has been in past years, but cut him? No GM in the league would be dumb enough to do that.
I think cutting him would be a dumb knee jerk decision, but about his "decent game".. What did he give up?

Really? Looks like SVG would disagree with you.
The fact that you think he had a pretty decent game is exactly the problem. He had a pretty decent game for him!
Young had a TS% of 50.5, which is well below the league average. He grabbed 6 rebs or should I say had 6 balls fall into his hands, since he doesn't make any effort to grab rebounds. Let's just overlook the fact that Faried had 25. Like Brewer, I give him no credit for steals because he gives up at least two layups for everyone steal he gets. Young is significantly below average on defense, offense, and rebounding, and now we have to watch his effort level fall as well. This isn't a guy you want the young guys molding their games after.
Nine million and a first round pick for a bench level player. Pretty frightening when our rookies are the ones showing the effort and making the better decisions.

Good post SJ, the only thing I disagree with is I would take Corey Brewer over Thad any day of the week. Thad wouldn't start for me on this team. I kind of like the idea that someone else had about using Adrien next to Gorgui, but I think I would show confidence in AB and see what he could do in a starters role.
