Ugly wins are still wins. Defense travels baby!

Exactly. They are an eye sore to watch on offense but defense is back to that elite level

The 3rd unit looks better on offense than the 1st. They pass the ball and keep it moving. Wish we had a coach that could implement an actual offense that the players would buy into. The floppy action has been working well when they use it. Hell, institute the old motion offense!

I'm-not-Abe's somewhat late night DVR review:

- Jaden McDaniels is playing like a man possessed. A couple weeks ago he really started to step up his defense back to what we are all used to and it has seemingly translated into every other part of his game. But even if he didn't snag 11 boards and hit his two 3's tonight, his defense was like taking a wrecking ball to the Spurs' offense. Incredible to watch.

- Rudy....sigh. How many missed bunnies and bobbles did he have tonight!? Should have been 9-11 instead of 5-11 from the field.

- NAW, Reid, and DDV didn't shoot the ball well collectively, but things just work better as a team when they are on the floor. They had 8 assists and 1 turnover and were a +28, +26, and +15 respectively.

- Sochan reminds me a little bit of Vanderbilt that year he was our starting PF in '21-22. Just constantly hustling, irritating, and in the middle of the action. More refined offensively than Vando, but similar type of freneticism.

- Ant with another good, not great, game. Not sure if this is his year to launch into superstardom. Not looking like it so far, but it appears our defense is the superstar of our team and he's a part of it.

- Keep stacking up wins baby! We are doing some real damage to Western Conference teams in our little cluster of teams in the middle.

Q, I love this point. It's a very pleasurable brand of ball with these guys. Hopefully Dilly can become a regular part of it too.

Those three could have been +40's if they and Rudy when playing with them hit their layups and bunnies. It's crazy how great they play from the plus minus, yet could have been so much better at the same time.
