Hes got to learn to finish against NBA size. All the more reason for PT in my opinion.
Not sure he can ever get to the rim though. He could eventually develop an elite floater game like Conley did earlier in his career and Tyus Jones was able to develop as well.
The floater game would be a great skill to develop, but that won’t happen without lots of playing time. I’ll add that, in his prime, Conley could get to the rim and he’s slightly shorter than Dilly. Curry is great at finishing at the rim. Dilly doesn’t’ have to finish above the rim although he has the hops to do that. He just needs to develop his finishing skills - awareness, change of speed, timing, trajectory, using the rim as a shield, etc. Those are skills that develop through lots of repetition in actual game situations.

I agree. We’re missing Ant but have all our other main guys and we’re playing at home. The Lakers are missing two of their top three guys and playing in our house. Yet, it’s tied near the end of the first half. I don’t know if I question Finch or the collection of players assembled by our front office. But something is definitely not right so far this season.

Mike and Jaden have made really interesting comments the last couple of days. I am worried finch might have lost the locker room

Exactly. Curry has no trouble finishing inside even though he’s no taller than Dilly and less athletic. There’s a long list of similarly small PGs through NBA history who have finished well at the rim. It’s a learned skill that requires substantial consistent playing time at the NBA level to develop.
I think Curry is an inch taller but sure.

Most coaches - even good ones - have a certain shelf life with a team. How many times have we seen Coach A get a team to the playoffs and then Coach B takes mostly that same team to the Finals?

I don't know what Finch's shelf life is with the Wolves but he has quite a long tenure by NBA standards.

I didn't hear Jaden's comments, but I had the same concern when I heard Mike's.

It seems teams shoot 60% from the field against us every game. Embarassing.

The rotations are truly suspect. When does Connelly get the call to find the coach that can take this team to the next level?
