Has fouling always been a problem with Melo or is it a new thing?
He never had to try this hard on defense and he hasn't figured out how to balance that with not fouling. All those years in Charlotte where he didn't have to defend that hard....he never learned.
I guess its good that he is bought in to increasing his effort. He can learn how to do it without fouling.

Loving the defensive effort. And the 5-out offense can bring Wendy away from the basket.

Tip your cap to Wemby for hitting those 3s. Beringer got great contests on them. Do we have enough in the tank to keep battling like this in the 2nd half?
I love Finch putting Kuminga on Harper. Harper usually bullies opposing guards in the paint. Harder to do that against our uber-athletic power forward!
