Well with Murray signed and a supposed stacked RB draft coming up I'd assume the AP with the Vikings is over. The more so thought about it last night football-wise I'm not sure AP being in MN made sense for either AP the Vikings. The Vikings have struggled to fit him into the offense for a couple years and have to look at moving on because you can't just bank on AP beating Father Time. On that purple podcast those guys said they talked to some of AP's people and he was going to take his time. I have no problem with that in fact it makes sense. He just better not whine and complain about the Vikings not doing more to bring him back. His annoying Dad doesn't count.

Murray is trash. That was a bad pickup. If you can't be really good behind Oakland's O-Line with their QB and receiving attack you just aren't that good and now you come to a team worse in all 3 of those areas.

I view him as an upgrade from Asiata. I hope we draft a primary back and he is plan B or C.

If you can digest the copy and paste below. Murray is an upgrade everywhere from McKinnon. Much better pass blocker.

RANK NAME TEAM # OVERALL RUN RECEIVING PASS BLOCK RUN BLOCK TOTAL RUN REC SNAPS PASS BLOCK SNAPS RUN BLOCK SNAPS STATUS
21 Latavius Murray MIN 73.1 69.2 74.6 83.5 - 561 215 248 76 22 Active
46 Jerick McKinnon MIN 21 66.1 65.7 73.0 71.0 - 512 170 269 51 21 Active

Like Bleed said he is a clear upgrade to Asiata who i have been a fan of but he wasn't as good last year for some reason.

Here is the contract details.

https://www.google.com/amp/profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/16/3-4-million-guaranteed-at-signing-for-latavius-murray/amp/

It's basically a 1 year deal and not a ton of money. They are gonna draft a RB. Murray makes a lot of sense as a bridge guy because he can pass protect really well. Young RBs typically don't do that right away. The Vikings seem to keep adding solid but not spectacular guys but they are still upgrades.

Marshawn Lynch being courted by Raiders. Would you rather have Lynch or AP?

Yeah or Jamal Charles?

I was listening to the purple podcast recently and they all agreed AP and his people basically still view him as 27 year old franchise player. That wouldn't surprise me.

Wow. If you aren't some 15-year-old punk or the world's best at your profession, something tells me you are going to have some explaining to do someday.

You can't fill 15 or so spots with 8 picks and not a first. This is a fair contract for both sides. And he is younger and a more complete back than AP is at this moment.

Just don't respond to me if you are going to attack my character because I have an opinion.

Bleed here is a poll asking your AP vs Lynch question.

59% Lynch
41% AP

23% other*
