Since its a straight up 2 year deal and its being reported KG was flexible I say 2 years 8 million. I would be fine with that all things considered. I won't be shocked if it's more so yeah.

I think you nailed it, monster...2 years/8 million sounds about right to me, but I wouldn't be upset with 2/10.

Manu came back for less than I thought he would.

This statement almost doesn't compute its so asinine. Yes David West plays at a higher level than KG right now, he is also chasing a championship thus the sacrifice. KG and the Wolves however are not. There is no reason to be cheap on KG (at least for this season) bc we can't sign anyone with cap space that doesn't exist and it wouldn't even if we didn't sign KG. KG could try and chase a ring if he so chose, but he is choosing to stick it out here and help our young guys develop and provide veteran leadership/work ethic to a bunch of kids under 21. He is sacrificing his last years in the league to be a mentor rather than compete knowing that it should payoff in an ownership stake when its all said and done.
my prediction 2 years 14 mill. with a player option (that way he can opt out and give us flexibility next summer if we want to try and get involved in free agency)

Meh, I am one of the few that doesn't believe KG is worth our time. I believe he disrupts more than helps at this point. While his intentions may be solid, having to deal daily with a losing culture, and team in general, is going to wear on him quickly. Also, his "mentoring" will be lost on the likes of Payne and Bennett. I just don't care for KG....never have. Don't mistake that for not appreciating what he was as a player...I do. Just don't want him back here at this point. He is a vet min player IMO....nothing more. Many here get lost in the sentimentality of this KG thing. That's all he is at this point, because he will offer very little as a player.

It's too cliché for me to agree with you on this, given my feelings for KG, but I enjoyed reading your post.

There's talk of DeAndre Jordan having second thoughts about committing to Dallas, and the whole Clipper entourage working to woo him back to LA.

The fuse on some fireworks has been lit!

I always thought the delay in FA discussions was odd. I'm surprised this stuff doesn't happen more often.

Apparently there are unwritten rules...

Like baseball there are certain "unwritten rules" and this is a big violation of it. Once a player commits to another team you move on.

Who looks the worst in this?
a) Clippers
b) @deandrejordan6
c) His agents
d) "Moratorium" policy.
e) All of the above.

Shouldn't be surprised Doc trying to talk DeAndre out of verbal agreement... Same guy who thought it was okay to talk way out of signed one.
