If the Wolves like Tyus more than DLO, it could absolutely happen whether or not DLO is traded.
Sure but I think it would be terrible for team chemistry because Dlo does not suck and he would be benched. You can say suck it up but that's not how it works. Big locker room distraction in my opinion
Yeah, actually Dlo does suck. You should probably come to terms with that :)
He really doesn't suck you should come to terms with that. :)
Actually, he kinda does suck.

KD wants a trade. Ironically, Nets traded DLO for KD. Let's offer the Nets DLO back for KD. Get it done, Timmy!

D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, three future first-round picks, and two pick swaps for Kevin Durant? Hmm.

They apparently weren't willing to give that up for a 25-year old PG who averaged 20 points, 9.2 assists and 8.2 rebounds last season and who would cost only $16M per year for the next two years. I don't see them giving up that same haul for Durant who will turn 34 before the season starts, isn't durable, and has four years left on his contract starting at $44M per year and escalating to $54.7M when he's 37.

Easy yes.
Ya guys want another Patton? Another Okogie? Another Dunn? Another Culver? Another Flynn? Another Brewer? Another Shabazz? Another Gorgui?
So we lose out if he gets injured or wants to leave. OK, back to dealing with the last 3 decades. Or he is perfect between Ant and Kat..

Yeah, I get all of that, but Dejounte Murray isn't even in the same galaxy as Kevin Durant as basketball players. I think it would be borderline irresponsible of any front office to not make some kind of competitive offer for him.

That's an easy no for me. I'm not going to mortgage the team's future on a 34 year old with his contact and history of poor durability. If they're willing to give up all that for Durant, they should have given up what would have been slightly less to get Murray.
But it's all academic. The Wolves are not going to trade for Durant. He'll be going to a team that's already on the cusp of winning a championship with players Durant knows and feels comfortable with. That's who he is. He doesn't take risks or assume burdens. He's as super talent, but he's not coming here.

Murray makes zero sense to this team, imo.

The Wolves would need to throw in Mcdaniels add another 1st and another pick swap and probably bolmoro and Nowell. And then maybe and that is a huge maybe the Nets would even consider that trade.
