Both Houston and Lakers lost again last night.

Lakers got dominated by the Hornets. Their defense is terrible and LeBron clearly not having as much of an impact regardless of what his stats say.

There is now a bit of breathing room being the 4th and 5th seeds.

The Wolves not having home court in at least round one would be a failure as I see things today.

In the grand scheme of things, that are multiple reason why it wouldn't be a failure, but I understand your point. I would say I agree, pending the trade deadline

You gotta feel for the Pacers. They're missing their top 6 scorers plus Halliburton tonight against the Pistons. Predictably they're down 23-2 after 7 minutes.

I think they'll feel pretty good on lottery night.

Ha, very true! If they have any injury luck at all next season, they're going to be really good.

Sexton, Coby, and Tre all had very good games tonight in Charlotte and Chicago's wins!

Dosunmu also had a very good game for the Bulls. The stats of Coby and Tre tonight provide a good illustration of your point about a game manager type versus a scoring punch type. Coby put up 20+ points with a combo of two-point and three-point shots. Meanwhile, Tre had 10 assists and only 1 turnover. True to form, Tre didn’t take any three-point shots but he scored 10 points on very efficient two-point shooting. I think Tre would be a great fit for the Wolves. We have Bones and Naz for bench scoring. I think we need a guy like Tre to make the other guys better collectively, which is exactly what TC was saying.

Tyus played only 3 minutes tonight even though Suggs is still out. Seems to me it would take very little to get Tyus. We certainly shouldn’t have to (and shouldn’t) give up Rob or any of our recent draft picks for Rob. Maybe Miller and Ingles.

So did Ja, and they actually won a game with him playing!

Of the three you mention, I would only be interested in Tre. But he's playing well for Chicago, and they're not going to let him go without a good return...and more than most of us here would be willing to give up.

Tough times in NY with the Knicks having lost 8 of 10 and finding themselves only 2 games out of the playin, and unfortunately old friend KAT is the main whipping boy there based on what I'm hearing. (Closed circuit to WildWolf, let us know if that is correct). To make matters worse, they are down 28 at the half today at home to Dallas, and KAT has almost as many turnovers as rebounds. A lot of talk on NBA Radio today about a bad relationship between Towns and Mike Brown and how Brown didn't really come to his defense in his dustup with Draymond this week. I called myself out in the "I was wrong" thread on my take that firing Thibs and hiring Brown would end up being a disaster, but I may end up being right on that one...the Knicks are in free fall.
