Damn...out of all the finals games to miss it had to be this one lol. I'm happy Miami didn't just roll over and get gentlemen swept. Hopefully we have a series on our hands.

Great game and win for the heat. im pulling for them to upset the lakers. Im worried though, Spo only played 7 guys tonight and butler went full 48mins. Bam is still not 100% and played near 40. The heat win a must win game tonight and played their guts out. Fatigue migh play a factor for them in game 6. They just dont have much depth beyond the 7 guys they play tonight. Dragic was a tough loss for them and olynyk has not been effective to warrant important rotation minutes.

I'd say even with high minutes that the Heat is a deeper team. Los Angeles has had the benefit of having two superstars versus Miami's one. Now, one of those two are missing a tire, so to speak. Anthony Davis' health is a question mark moving forward. He did not look like he was moving around well late. It might not be enough, but Miami has made it interesting.

Jimmy. Fucking. Butler.

If Bam can actually finish around the basket that game doesn't come down to the wire. Like Cam said what kind of shape is Davis after getting banged up a couple times in that game.

Jimmy was putting forth effort on both ends running the offense and Guarding LeBron every possession. Meanwhile LeBron on the defensive end was not always the guy locked up in Jimmy etc. It would help if the Heat could even put that transition game where the Lakers has a very large advantage in this one.

A big factor is what the other guys do. KCP has a really nice all around game for the Lakers. Duncan Robinson matched him. Rondo and Nunn each had an impact as guards off the bench. Which team has other guys that play well...or don't.

The way Miami plays really works well for Jimmy to do what he does. They was one possession he went to work and there was literally nobody in the paint. It's not just about shooting 3's but spreading the floor does make things easier to drive and kick. The Heat have been playing some form of that type of ball for like 3-4 years. They didn't really have to change much if anything in how they play.

Kudos to the Heat and especially Duncan Robinson. However, AD's injury was a huge factor in this game. After he went down with an ankle/heel injury, he wasn't the same. Lakers need a healthy AD or Miami probably has the edge.

I'm surprised the Heat came out with another win. LeBron played well, even better then Butler I think but had not much help. AD's injury is a little concerning for them. He was limping quite a bit and the previous loss he totally disappeared. He's got to play well as the Lakers don't have much scoring or much talent beyond those two.

Funny how the entire narrative changes if Danny hits that open 3 with 5 seconds left and the Lakers hold on (which wouldn't be automatic of course but likely).
