PS: Karl Towns is once again showing that those comments doubting his motor were absurd. Playing very active against my Gators.

I think you're undervaluing the importance of three-point baskets, and floor spacing for that matter.

Camden wrote:Okafor looked just okay in the first half today. 4 points on 2-2 shooting, but just didn't get it going until the latter half. Second half, he played bully ball, he showed finesse and footwork. Still showed that he's not going to make an impact on defense. Rather stay out of foul trouble than contest shots at the rim. Overall a good performance. What you see is what you get with him, in my opinion. A potentially dominant low post scorer, good rebounder and a mediocre defender.
Stanley struggled a bit today. He was getting to the rim at will, which was impressive, just had too many layup attempts roll all around the rim without going down. Had a potential and-one basket roll out late when they needed it the most and you could see how exhausted he looked because of it. Otherwise he was decent. Knocked down a couple threes. Made the right passes out of the post when doubled. Got in foul trouble, but still managed to play smart and make an impact. Hopefully he bounces back.
Yeah but Cam, you think Thad is a good defender.

I do. And you think he's the worst defender in franchise history. We're so far apart in our view of Young that it's mindless to keep bringing it up. It was just a week or two ago you said he was an embarrassment on both ends of the floor. You hate Thad Young. We get it.

I think we are a .500 team as is and if you take out Martin's efficient scoring and 3 pt shooting, I think that drops down to at least .400. Our offense just seems to run that much better with both him and Ricky back. Bazz can score but it is a different kind of scoring that will allow opposing teams to fully pack the paint affecting everyone else that needs that room to operate. You just can't stay competitive if you can't hit 3's and dumping our best shooter by far is going to hurt more than you think. Martin is sort of our offensive bailout because he is the most reliable scorer on the team. I also don't think you are accounting for the drop off in bench production as we would have to rely heavily on Bud and Lavine instead of being able to fall back on Bazz's scoring. Our bench has been bad without Bazz so it would be nice to get him back in that role to help carry the second unit and keep us close during games. We all know from last year what having no bench support does to the winning effort only this year we have a worse starting 5 so the bench is needed to just stay competitive let alone win more often then we lose.

I think your posts in this thread are getting us off course. You're searching for a Thad Young argument, and I've had a large number of them already. Do remember you told me to go fuck myself. So, quite frankly, they get tiresome. I've said my thoughts on him as a player. If you haven't comprehended them, well, that's on you.

You fucking hypocrite. Do you think anybody is tired of your mindless defending of Young all year long? He was your guy in the offseason. He's been your guy all year, most of the time making you look like a fool. A day doesn't go by that you don't remind us of anything he has done well. So back at you fuckhead, you love Young we get it.

I'm getting us off course? Who has to read your senseless drivel about Young every goddam day?
"Oh, Thad had his hands up on defense, excellent work by him".
Fuck, I've never been so pissed off at anybody on this board.
