My main concern moving forward is the "timeline" talk this team constantly has. If we're only good be as good as the drafts Towns and Wiggins were in, we're in trouble. As the years keep passing by, at a certain point, these 19 and soon to be 18 year old prospects theoretically won't fit Towns' timeline, so is this team just gonna say to hell with the draft? if so, this is gonna be no different than the Thibodeau regime in terms of roster construction.

I'll continue to say this: I don't think Rosas understands how hard it's really gonna be to change things around. Now, I'm not gonna give up on Culver, but if Culver, Nowell or even Reid were playing well, I think fans would say, ok we suck but at least it looks like these kids might be something. When you don't have that to hang onto, you feel like everything is failing the way it is now.

I have a bad feeling that Rosas is going to blow the Covington trade, whatever that may be.

I always wonder how this franchise can get any worse and then they show all of us.

Rosas has stated all along that he didn't care about wins and losses for the season. Because of that I don't see him making any significant moves to try to turn the team around this year. Everything will be done with the long-term picture in mind.

I myself don't understand how you can essentially adopt a rebuilding attitude when you've got three players making over $20 million a year on your team and two of them are under the age of 25. This team sole purpose right now should be to make the playoffs without incurring any more long-term salary.

They brought in some guys of similar age, but outside of kat, wiggins, and layman, every player seems to be playing much lower than their expectations. 12 players playing alot worse than they were supposed to. 12. Thats nuts.

Thats why we stink and cant do anything right now.

I dont want to turn this season around, i want some clear future direction. In my opinion, we arent going to sign anyone who can give us that in the offseason. I cant sit through another season waiting for next year to see what tweaks we can make in the margins. He has to start clearing the deck now.

Thibs took the best young roster in the NBA and decimated it. Fuck Thibs! Impatience is what got us in this mess. We don't need more of it. I'm fine with giving the young guys all the leash they can handle and hopefully we can unearth some future building blocks out of the rubble.

Young guys? Who are the young guys? Culver? Okogie? Those aren't difference makers.

For all of Thibs' problems, he still kept the Wolves two max contract players. Two #1 picks who we've been told for years will be worth the wait... if we're patient.

[Note: Wiggins and Towns are no longer "young guys" who get a leash. They're in season 6 and season 5.]

When Thibs called us the best young roster in the NBA I think the reality was that we were collectively delusional about our talent. We were never truly the best young roster in the NBA no matter how much we wanted to believe it. Our max guys are a below elite big man and a starting wing. Blow it up and build around Towns, we've rightly pointed out that wont make us champions but it will give us a shot at competitiveness.
