Yes. We've discussed Batum's resurgence previously. But I think there's some fool's gold there.

He's playing with very talented teammates who know how to play basketball... something he wouldn't have in abundance in Minnesota. I also don't think it's coincidence that he's playing better when his next million-dollar contract is on the line...

But yes... while that proposed trade had little or no short-term value... at least the Wolves could have moved on much faster. As it is... they've mortgaged the future to spin their wheels even more. Neither option was great. But ripping off band-aids never is much fun.

We don't know if the Hornets dug Wiggins at all to do the deal... BUT... it wouldn't have been a Wiggins or Hayward deal.

This trade would have happened long before Hayward's time in Boston was nearing its end.

We don't know if the Hornets dug Wiggins at all to do the deal... BUT... it wouldn't have been a Wiggins or Hayward deal.

I get that, but were Hornets always planning on going after Hayward in FA. I'm guessing they had some inclination that Hayward was opting out. It wouldn't of been as easy of a stretch on Wiggins contract compared to Batum

For those that still can't see the forest through the trees. No, DLO and KAT playing together are not going to significantly impact our win total. Do we really need to see it to know that?

Remember when national media made it appear like Andrew Wiggins had revolutionized his game in Golden State? Woof. He's the same guy he's always been if not slightly worse this year. I don't miss him for a second.

I noticed today BB reference had him listed at PF. It looks like based on other guys getting minutes that are more likely to be wing players that he might be playing a few minutes there. Anyone know if he is playing a few minutes at that spot? Personally I thought that was one thing that Wiggins had improved in over the years actually being able to defend some small ball 4's. The big weakness of playing him at PF is his lack of rebounding prowess.

Anyway...yes I agree in general Wiggins is pretty much the same guy he has been for a while.
