He made $30M+ last season... how much of a paycut is he willing to take?

MLE. He is 35 and his minutes have taken a massive hit last year. Probably can't make more with teams that have cap space

He will instantly make their defense better, even if he just plays 20-25 MPG. What a great signing - getting a guy to fill a position and functional need for them.

Once again, a very good player in the Western Conference going from one elite team to a less elite team that will now make the latter team better. Gaaaah!

Source? I only find articles that say Portland is interested in Millsap.

Sources: Free agent Paul Millsap is expected to draw interest from the Trail Blazers.

Millsap turns 36 this season and is well past his prime, but he still offers leadership, tough defense, and shooting. Portland's bigs got wrecked by AD, a reliable vet like Millsap could help.

KOC must have changed the wording on his tweet or I read it wrong. My bad

Shams: Rockets and Wizards have discussed a deal centered on Russell Westbrook for John Wall, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. No traction yet, Rockets are seeking more assets.

Harden appears headed to Brooklyn. Westbrook is being shopped. Hayward might be headed to Atlanta. Kemba Walker was on the trading block. Not to mention the big trades yesterday including CP3, Jrue Holiday and Covington. Craziest predraft trade period that I can think of.

I feel like Washington and Houston are simply playing Russian Roulette.

Who owns Houston's future first rounders? They suddenly appear to have gained a lot of value.

I just don't see a reason for Houston to deal Harden to Brooklyn. For Houston to win in this deal, as they enter a complete tear down and rebuild, they can't afford to take back players making the types of salaries of guys like Lavert and Prince. Either you get guys on rookie deals or draft picks. I just don't get it for Houston.
