I've seen "COVID protocols" thrown around as to why D-Lo hasn't returned tonight, but I can't confirm that.

Antman has a nice first step.

Why is Rubio in the NBA? He should have just stayed in Spain. Better for everyone.

Edwards is forcing things against bigs in the paint, which creates a lot of misses and blocked shots. But boy, if we can clear out a side and just let him go one on one, he can get almost anyone on his hip or backside with a clear lane to the hoop. KAT is going to really open things up for him and allow DLO to play more catch and shoot, which I prefer a lot better than him trying to break down a defense on his own.

I seriously wish a reporter would ask Ryan Saunders after this game to evaluate his own performance as head coach of the Timberwolves this season and justify whether or not he thinks he should continue in this position. Watching him answer that question would either be extremely sad or absolute comedy.

This Mavs team is 3-7 over their last 10 games. Nothing like a tune-up game against the Wolves to get them back on track.

D-Lo out with "leg soreness" -- whatever the hell that means. If it's his quad flaring up, then why not just say that? The way this team reports/updates the fans on injuries is disrespectful.

The only good thing Ryan has done all year is played the young kids.

It's necessary to point out -- because nobody else will, it feels like -- but Beasley is once again having a piss-poor game on the road.
Edit: This will likely be Beasley's ninth game (out of 13) on the road shooting below 40-percent from the field.
